PURCHASE

We always provide full information covering all details regarding which casks/cases you are purchasing in which volume, the year of the casks or bottles, the bonded warehouse they are stored in, and the insurance and warehousing details. Once you have confirmed you are happy with the proposal a member of staff will send you an online document for you to sign via DocuSign and will request various anti-money laundering documents from you to confirm your identity. These usually include a photographic ID and a bank statement or utility bill dated within 3 months. Once these checks are complete you are free to purchase as much stock as is available.

Once your payment has been confirmed we will allocate your casks/cases to your bonded warehouse account held in your name and send your certificates of ownership, as well as any other important information regarding cask/cases such as bottling/labelling rights or tasting notes for wines for example

STEWARDSHIP

A member of staff will be available for any questions you may have throughout the duration of your investment and will be happy to assist you with the sale of any positions you hold even those not purchased through Sovereign Cellars, We also keep you well informed regarding your options for sale, buyers can be found quickly should capital release be an issue and investment plans for things such as whiskey are highly flexible, as the whiskey matures in your casks it increases in value each year, and when it is bottled is completely up to you.

Payment

Once the agreement is signed and the relevant documentation is sent back to us we will issue payment details for you to make payment. This can be done by debit or credit card or via bank transfer.

Watch your Portfolio Grow!

Once your payment has been confirmed we will allocate your whisky casks to your account, send you your certificates of ownership, and post you a Sovereign Cellars welcome pack. Your portfolio manager will be available for any questions you may have throughout the duration of your investment and will be happy to assist you with the exit of your investment when you wish to sell.
